Key Stage 1

In Years 1 and 2 we build on the enjoyment and enthusiasm for learning fostered in the Early Years.

We follow the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 but are not restricted by it. Our curriculum takes the best elements of traditional teaching, placing an emphasis on English and Maths, strongly supported by a wide range of subjects and activities designed to widen horizons and develop the children’s imagination.
